As a Senior Cryptography SME – Security Solutions Expert, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution committed to safeguarding digital assets and strengthening security infrastructure. Your expertise will support the delivery and support of cryptographic solutions that underpin the trust and integrity of financial services across the globe.
Your main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with global teams as the Subject Matter Expert for cryptographic products, including TLS/SSL and SSH key management.
- Identify gaps in cryptographic processes, escalate issues, and propose solutions for process improvements.
- Lead change management initiatives, working closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless implementation.
- Prepare and analyze reports to identify issues and track progress of cryptography projects.
- Serve as the first line of escalation for cryptography-related incidents and queries.
- Develop solutions for complex, non-standard requests from end users and support their implementation.
- Respond proactively to urgent production issues involving cryptographic services.
- Educate business units on SSH/TLS remediation processes and support their progress.
- Ensure compliance with security standards through thorough documentation and review.
- Provide expert cryptography consultancy to internal stakeholders worldwide.
- Process service requests within agreed SLAs using ServiceNow.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in cryptography, security solutions, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with Venafi platform or TLS/SSH management processes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Operational mindset, delivering solutions aligned with security and compliance standards.
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure technologies.
- Strong scripting skills in Python.
- SQL/MySQL knowledge.
- Exceptional documentation skills.
- Passion for cryptography and continuous learning.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS.
- Experience with API integrations and cURL commands.
Language Required for the role:
Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
