Senior Cloud Security Specialist – Cryptography & Compliance (1x per quarter in the office)

As a Senior Cloud Security Specialist – Cryptography & Compliance, you will be working for our client, a major global financial institution, leading a large-scale cloud security transformation programme. You will be instrumental in evaluating and enhancing cryptography-related controls across multiple cloud platforms, supporting secure cloud adoption and ensuring regulatory compliance. Location: remote work model with 1 day x per 3 months in the office

Rate: B2B: 150 - 180 PLN/h netto+vat

Your main responsibilities:

• Conduct gap analysis of cryptography controls across multiple cloud platforms

• Assess existing cloud security configurations and identify improvement areas

• Contribute to planning and execution of control testing activities

• Review and interpret technical documentation, processes, and procedures

• Create and configure cryptography-associated controls in supported cloud environments

• Develop test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices

• Gather and document testing evidence throughout the testing lifecycle

• Collaborate with cybersecurity and cloud engineering teams to validate findings

• Evaluate the maturity levels of implemented cloud controls

• Engage with stakeholders to communicate insights and technical outcomes

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud security or related fields

• Deep understanding of cryptography and controls across at least 2 major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

• Hands-on experience creating and configuring cryptography controls in cloud environments

• Strong knowledge of federated account models in cloud

• Solid understanding of cryptography tooling and associated technologies

• Proven ability to review and analyze technical documentation

• Experience with structured testing lifecycles and related artefacts

• Background in cybersecurity and secure cloud practices

• Ability to work with complex security frameworks in large-scale cloud environments

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience working in financial services

• Familiarity with Alibaba Cloud security features

• Exposure to cloud compliance and regulatory standards

• Experience working with globally distributed teams

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent Polish and English
