Senior Cloud & Integration Architect

Warszawa-based opportunity with hybrid work model (1 day in office per week)

As a Senior Cloud & Integration Architect, you will be working for our client—an organization focused on delivering business-critical solutions through private cloud and Azure. You will design and review the architecture of corporate systems, shape integration approaches, and coordinate cross-functional technical teams to improve security, performance, reliability, and production processes.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design and review architecture for complex, high-performance and secure corporate systems—both internally built and externally integrated solutions.

• Lead architectural coordination across technology project teams (analysts, developers, DevOps, security architects, infrastructure, users, and software vendors).

• Identify technology needs and participate in initiatives improving security, efficiency, and reliability of delivered solutions.

• Develop and maintain architecture standards, including documentation and high-level design deliverables.

• Apply microservices patterns and DDD principles to guide scalable solution design.

• Support cloud decision-making with cloud-agnostic thinking—translating requirements into practical architecture choices (synchronous and asynchronous integration models).

• Prepare architecture documentation for high-level design and RFP/architectural requirements.

• Act as an intellectual and technical authority—communicating, negotiating, and defending architectural decisions at different decision levels.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in architecture/design and integration of enterprise solutions.

• Strong ability to design and integrate complex, secure, high-performance corporate systems.

• Solid software architecture workshop knowledge (best practices, tools, and approaches for managing architecture).

• Experience with microservices and DDD design patterns.

• Practical programming experience in C# or Java (authority among developers; ability to read code).

• Experience creating system models and using architecture design tools.

• Experience delivering HLD / feasibility studies and defining integration flows between systems.

• Communicative skills in Polish and English (communicate, negotiate compromises, present and justify solutions).

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of methods for managing enterprise architecture (e.g., architecture management frameworks).
• Experience with ElasticSearch, Kafka, Kubernetes, HashiCorp Vault, and/or CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with banking systems (nice-to-have).

Language Required for the role :

• Polish (expected strong command for communication in day-to-day collaboration and documentation).

• English (communicative level, at least B2 for speaking and writing).
