Senior C# Developer

Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model, allowing up to 3 remote days per week.

As a Senior C# Developer for Equity Derivatives Platform, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution specializing in Banking and Markets IT. You will help develop and enhance cutting-edge Structured Products trading infrastructure, enabling innovative solutions for complex financial challenges. This is a chance to shape the next generation of derivatives platforms and accelerate your growth in a dynamic, international environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through deployment and support.

• Build and support strategic Equity Derivatives trading infrastructure to meet evolving business needs.

• Re-design and migrate legacy solutions (Excel/VBA) into modern C# frameworks, driving digital transformation.

• Work closely with structuring and trading desks to develop tactical and semi-strategic platforms.

• Implement modern development practices including test-driven development, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.

• Maintain high standards of code quality, testing, and operational excellence.

• Support users during UAT phases and provide ongoing production support.

• Participate in continuous improvement activities and contribute to innovative projects.

  
  

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software development, specifically with C#.

• Strong expertise in object-oriented programming and modern software engineering practices.

• Hands-on experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and REST/SOAP web applications.

• Excellent communication skills in English, fluent level.

• Strong sense of ownership, drive, and ability to work effectively in complex, global teams.

• Motivation to deepen understanding of equity derivatives business.

  
  

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of Google Cloud or cloud-based solutions.

• Experience with derivatives pricing or risk management.

• Growth mindset with adaptability to agile development.

  
  

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills.
