Warsaw based opportunity with possibility to work 3-4 days a week remotely
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global leader in investment fund services and securities operations, supporting top-tier institutional clients worldwide. You will join the Engineering Department responsible for implementing strategic process and system changes. Your key focus will be enhancing and migrating an application used to evaluate the performance of customer investments. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, technical understanding, and the ability to manage complex requirements across stakeholders while translating them into actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to improve existing production processes
- Conduct impact analysis, cost-benefit evaluation, and prepare business cases for new initiatives
- Analyze root causes of production issues and propose effective solutions
- Manage and coordinate change requests, ensuring traceability and proper documentation
- Lead and support test activities including test planning, data preparation, and UAT coordination
- Drive technical analysis and contribute to the design of new business solutions
- Support the onboarding process for new clients by gathering and refining requirements
- Translate business needs into epics and user stories, estimating effort and complexity
- Coordinate efforts between teams and synchronize their delivery plans
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business leads and developers
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial services
- Knowledge of the securities sector and investment performance processes
- Experience in project-oriented environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Understanding of project estimation and prioritization techniques
- Experience in writing and managing user stories in cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and autonomy in task management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence in decision-making and ownership of assigned topics
- Fluent English and experience communicating with international stakeholders
- Ability to work holistically on a topic and break it down into structured deliverables
Nice to have:
- Experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner
- Familiarity with VBA and SQL scripts
- Knowledge of additional programming languages
- Knowledge of Oracle, UX/UI basics, Storybook, or design components
