As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution renowned for delivering a broad range of services to individuals, corporations, and institutions.
You will support digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives within one of the world's largest investment banks.
The project focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining reporting, and ensuring compliance by translating complex business needs into actionable development tasks across agile teams. You'll play a key role in coordinating stakeholders, managing product documentation, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact financial technology solutions.
Your main responsibilities:
- Communicate with stakeholders to gather and share business or development requirements
- Provide suggestions and solutions to the development team to fulfill business needs
- Create JIRA items by translating business needs into technical requirements
- Maintain Confluence pages and upload relevant project documentation
- Prepare presentations for client, management, or ad-hoc meetings
- Manage Sprints in JIRA and coordinate Scrum calls
- Track infrastructure and software upgrades to avoid compliance and outage risks
- Perform User Acceptance Testing and production checkouts
- Prepare and maintain scope documents and book-of-work for the year
- Mentor new team members and provide project knowledge transfers
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 6 years of experience in the IT industry in a similar role
- Proven experience working with JIRA and Confluence
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Oracle Developer or Postman
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple efforts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in preparing reports and managing project documentation
- Proactive problem-solving attitude and attention to detail
- Experience conducting UAT and managing production issues
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a business-related field
