Senior Business Analyst

Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month).

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking. You will contribute to the development and optimization of advanced IT systems that support banking operations. Your role will involve analyzing business requirements, designing functional and non-functional specifications, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of efficient solutions. You will also support testing processes and provide expert guidance on system configuration and maintenance. This is an exciting opportunity to shape innovative solutions in the financial sector.

Your main responsibilities: 

• Gather and analyze business requirements during the initialization and implementation of IT projects
• Develop general solution designs and specifications for functional and non-functional requirements
• Support analytical work conducted by external suppliers and internal units to prepare functional specifications and technical designs for IT systems
• Collaborate with business lines to define and analyze concepts, assumptions, and principles related to banking processes
• Work closely with designers, architects, and internal stakeholders from various departments
• Prepare user and automated test scenarios, and verify them when collaborating with external companies
• Prepare assumptions for automated test projects
• Review technical documentation, including technology usage, application environment, and system architecture
• Conduct functional tests of IT solutions before passing them to business units for acceptance testing
• Provide expert support and guidance to banking units regarding system configuration and parameterization

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least five years of experience in a similar role (e.g., systems analyst, business analyst, designer), including collaboration with internal and business clients
• A minimum of three years of experience in organizational, business, and IT projects within the banking/financial sector
• In-depth knowledge of the banking industry and various organizational aspects (legal, process, business)
• Practical experience in software engineering and IT system architecture design
• Strong knowledge of data integration and system integration concepts
• Proficiency in designing relational databases
• Experience with requirements management and change management
• Ability to clearly and accurately model and document requirements and business processes
• Familiarity with at least one CASE tool
• Strong analytical thinking and effective communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience in working within a matrix structure
• Knowledge of one programming language (JEE or C#)
• Knowledge of BPMN
• Understanding of workflow solutions
• Familiarity with Sparx Enterprise Architect
• Knowledge of Rekomendacja D, F, J, K, S
• Knowledge of Ferryt system
• Experience in data architecture design for low-code platforms
• Knowledge of Hadoop and Apache Kafka
