As a Senior Business Analyst – Data & Analytics, you will be working for our client, a leading organization in the financial sector, committed to transforming data into strategic assets. You will play a crucial role in bridging business needs and technical solutions, driving innovation in data management and analytics to support pivotal decision-making processes. Your main responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and effectively delivered.
- Analyze business processes, datasets, and systems to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead or support the development of automated data lineage solutions to enhance visibility, governance, and traceability across data pipelines.
- Apply generative AI and other advanced analytics methods to automate workflows, extract insights, and support strategic decisions.
- Gather, validate, and document business and data requirements for new initiatives and enhancements.
- Translate high-level technical designs, data concepts, and analytical outputs into clear, business-friendly language.
- Investigate data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with technical teams to implement corrective measures.
- Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to enable stakeholders to understand performance metrics and make informed decisions.
- Continuously explore new data sources, tools, and products to identify additional value opportunities with an inquisitive mindset.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- A minimum of 5 years of solid, relevant experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related field.
- Knowledge of BCBS239 standards is desirable.
- A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Ability to comprehend complex data architecture and technical environments.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven capacity to multitask and deliver within tight deadlines.
- An open personality with effective communication skills and the flexibility to collaborate within an international team.
- Knowledge of data management tools such as Collibra, Atlas, QlikSense is a plus.
- Proficiency in interpreting and articulating SQL and Python code will be considered an asset.
