As a Senior Business Analyst – Controls Automation & Platform Integration, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution committed to technological excellence and operational resilience. You will play a pivotal role in transforming risk mitigation and controls through innovative automation solutions, contributing to a smarter, more efficient banking environment. Your main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with control and platform teams to assess and define how controls can evolve to support tenant scenarios within the platform ecosystem.
- Perform comprehensive analytical activities to understand control objectives and identify automation opportunities aligned with risk mitigation requirements.
- Translate policies and procedures into robust, codifiable solutions for automated control delivery.
- Design, conceptualize, and develop automation solutions, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with CTO platform engineering teams to integrate solutions seamlessly into the wider platform architecture.
- Lead efforts to innovate, promote reusability, and improve productivity across teams and processes.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, communicate effectively, and present data-driven insights to senior leadership.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 5 years of experience in business analysis, controls, or platform integration within a technology-driven environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and optimize control objectives for automation.
- Solid understanding of Technology Platforms, including Internal Developer Platforms and Cloud Hosting Platforms.
- Knowledge of control environments and software engineering processes.
- Proven experience in iterative technology delivery and process automation.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, with experience leading global and offshore teams.
- Fluent English language skills – excellent in both verbal and written communication.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Certifications related to Business Analysis, Control Assurance, or Project Management.
- Experience with automation tools or scripting languages.
