Senior Android Developer

Warsaw based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month).

As a Senior Android Developer you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, developing and enhancing secure mobile applications used by thousands of users daily. You will be part of an experienced team responsible for creating intuitive, high-performance Android applications that meet the highest standards of usability and security. This role offers the opportunity to work with the latest mobile technologies and contribute to the digital transformation of the financial sector.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

• Maintain code quality and organization through proper design patterns and best practices

• Write and maintain unit and functional tests

• Participate in code reviews and continuous integration processes

• Work with APIs and ensure seamless client-server communication

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 4 years of programming experience, including 2 years on the Android platform

• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Android SDK

• Practical experience developing mobile applications for Android

• Good understanding of object-oriented design and programming principles

• Experience with client-server architecture

• Familiarity with version control tools, preferably Git

• Ability to write unit and functional tests

• ​​​​​​​Knowledge of relational database concepts

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kotlin 

• Understanding of Samsung KNOX SDK
