As a Data Standards Scrum Master you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution driving a large-scale transformation towards Agile and data-centric operations. You will be guiding cross-functional teams through the transition from traditional delivery models to Agile methodologies, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-performance. The project focuses on evolving legacy systems and processes by aligning agile delivery practices with strategic product roadmaps, enabling sustained value delivery and organizational agility in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment.

Your main responsibilities:

1. Managing alignment between team activities and overall program or release goals
2. Facilitating self-organizing agile pods and enabling continuous delivery
3. Leading agile ceremonies including retrospectives, reviews, and planning sessions
4. Shielding teams from external interruptions to maintain sprint focus
5. Removing delivery impediments by coordinating with management and support functions
6. Supporting Agile process implementation across complex, legacy systems
7. Coaching teams and stakeholders through Agile transformation and mindset shift
8. Empowering teams with motivational leadership and performance monitoring
9. Promoting a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous learning
10. Enabling sustained adoption of Agile practices and alignment with organizational objectives

You're ideal for this role if you have:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a Scrum Master or Agile delivery role
2. Proven track record working in financial services, preferably with data-driven change
3. Deep understanding of transitioning from Waterfall to Agile environments
4. Strong ability to apply Agile and Scrum practices to business change initiatives
5. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
6. Experience working across and scaling multiple Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
7. Demonstrated success leading and motivating cross-functional Agile teams
8. Hands-on experience using Agile management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
9. Effective stakeholder and governance management in IT and business domains
10. Proficiency in spoken and written English for global team collaboration

It is a strong plus if you have:

1. Over 5 years of Agile delivery experience (for more senior GCB 4 roles)
2. Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, SAFe Agilist or equivalent certification
3. Background in Design Thinking or Lean delivery principles
4. Active participation in Agile communities and continuous learning networks
5. Experience working in global, matrix-ed organizational structures
