    Develop new features and solutions for the largest price aggregator engine in Poland!


    Lublin-based opportunity with the possibility to work 100% remotely! 

    As a Scala Developer you will work for our Client – the largest online comparison engine in Poland, which has been helping customers compare and buy travel and life insurance, cars, real estate, etc. Every day, the engine provides customers with insights on credits, loans, bank accounts or deposits offers. Our Client is a part of an international group with a global reach, which runs insurance and financial comparison websites in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Spain.

    Your key responsibilities: Build a leading price aggregation engine with the Technology team

    • Develop and program applications using Scala, Java, Typescript, AngularJS, Angular, HTML, CSS 
    • Build, develop and implement complex IT systems
    • Deliver high quality technical solutions to multiple global stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
    • Effectively communicate development progress to the tech lead
    • Be comfortable introducing new technologies and new ideas as required
    • Create and maintain the design and programming documentation
    • Monitor and participate in ongoing problem solving
    • Advise and assist in the field of your own competences to other team members
     
    You’re ideal for this role if you have:

    • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
    • Past experience with developing IT systems using Scala (Java is a strong plus)
    • Familiarity with PostgreSQL or its related RDBMS
    • Good knowledge of using Git and intellij or any other Scala-enabled IDE
    • Knowledge of English at a level that allows you to read technical documentation freely
    • Comfortable with Agile Operating Models
    • Past experience with high-scale performance optimizations
    • Fintech experience will be a great asset
    • Great communication skills and ability to work in a team
