As a React Native Tech Lead, you will be working for our client, a global financial services provider driving innovation through secure, scalable, and user-centric mobile experiences. You will be leading a cross-platform mobile development team responsible for building and maintaining mobile journeys across iOS and Android. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic leadership, requiring strong collaboration with stakeholders, backend teams, and product managers. Your main responsibilities:

1. Leading and mentoring a React Native mobile development team
2. Building and supporting iOS and Android mobile applications using React Native
3. Integrating mobile apps with backend systems and third-party APIs
4. Collaborating with product managers, business analysts, and designers to define requirements
5. Driving mobile architecture decisions using event-driven and microservice patterns
6. Implementing DevOps practices using mobile CI/CD pipelines
7. Ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies and toolsets like Jira and Confluence
8. Maintaining mobile security and compliance best practices
9. Overseeing source control management with Bitbucket or GitHub
10. Managing and deploying artifacts using tools like Nexus

You're ideal for this role if you have:

1. 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring mobile engineering teams
2. 5+ years of proven hands-on experience with React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript
3. Solid background in mobile app development for iOS and Android (Swift/Kotlin/Java)
4. Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures
5. Experience designing or working with microservices
6. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows for mobile apps
7. Understanding of mobile application security and best practices
8. Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
9. Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
10. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

1. Experience with mobile analytics or performance monitoring tools
2. Familiarity with automated testing frameworks for mobile apps
3. Exposure to financial or regulated industries
4. Background in accessibility and internationalization of mobile applications
5. Knowledge of containerization tools and infrastructure-as-code principles
