QA Engineering Analyst

Kraków - based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).

As an QA Engineering Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution undergoing a major digital transformation project. You will be supporting the delivery of high-quality software solutions by ensuring the reliability and efficiency of test automation processes across multiple platforms. You are playing a crucial role in identifying and addressing potential risks and defects early in the development cycle while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to projects that impact millions of users worldwide in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Preparing and executing automated test cases based on business use cases

• Creating and maintaining Traceability Matrix and relevant testing artefacts

• Designing and generating fit-for-purpose test data

• Executing regression test scenarios across projects and platforms

• Capturing and tracking defects through their full lifecycle

• Conducting test result walkthroughs with business stakeholders

• Publishing daily testing status reports to stakeholders

• Collaborating with Test Leads and ITPMs to escalate project issues

• Performing impact analysis based on test findings across systems

• Capturing and applying lessons learned from previous testing projects

  
  

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and QA best practices

• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium and Cucumber

• Solid programming skills in Java and Python

• Good understanding of REST APIs and SQL for test data validation

• Experience with functional testing and business-driven development

• Proficient communication skills in English

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships

• A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of the software project lifecycle

  
  

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in performance testing

• Familiarity with JUnit and test result reporting tools

• Exposure to enterprise-scale financial platforms

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
