Warsaw-based opportunity with a possibility to work remotely
As a QA Engineer, you will work for our Client – a leading technology-driven trading company in Poland and in Europe. The core product, which is an online marketplace has over 21 million registered users and 17 million visiting customers every month. With almost two decades of existence, the platform has evolved to become the most trusted Polish online marketplace. Our Client continues to improve standards on the e-commerce market by fostering consumer rights and supporting the development of entrepreneurship. Your main responsibilities: deliver a new e-commerce platform
- Estimate effort required for quality assurance of enhancements/features delivered by the SCRUM team
- Design test cases (TDD)
- Translate functional requirements into the test automation requirements and then into the automated test scripts - automated scripts are written in robust, scalable, and high-quality open-source test automation frameworks and serve for purpose of functional and regression testing
- Execute tests (manually, automated scripts), schedule test execution runs, and reports on their results
- Maintain and update automated test scripts post every test execution cycle
- Raise bugs in case of deviations from acceptance criteria are observed as a result of test execution
- Analyze and investigate issues coming from automation test runs
- Develop and set up mocks/stubs / virtual services for smooth automation framework execution
- Support SCRUM team members on the issue resolution by providing comprehensive results of the test execution and reproducing a bug
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant professional QA experience
- Strong API testing experience with test automation using Rest Assured or other API automation framework
- Experience in UI test automation using Selenium or Cypress frameworks
- User interface test automation expertise
- Experience in one or more of these languages: Java, JS
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Polish and English
- Culture of excellence and collaboration
- Past work experience with Scrum, Kanban or XP
