Kraków - based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).
As a Programme and Project Services Manager, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution undergoing large-scale digital and operational transformation projects. You will be supporting the delivery of strategic change initiatives across multiple business units, ensuring that projects are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement project management best practices, improve governance processes, and enhance reporting accuracy while ensuring compliance with internal frameworks and regulatory standards.
Your main responsibilities:
Managing end-to-end project governance and delivery activities
Supporting programme and project planning, tracking, and reporting processes
Ensuring compliance with transformation frameworks and internal standards
Coordinating with stakeholders to monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies
Maintaining accurate documentation and project artefacts in standard tools
Preparing and delivering progress updates and presentations to senior management
Monitoring project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations
Driving efficiency and consistency across the project portfolio
Facilitating communication across teams and project workstreams
Supporting continuous improvement of project management methodologies
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle
Proven experience in PMO or project management within large organisations
Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
Solid experience managing change and transformation initiatives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools
Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams
Experience working within a banking or financial services environment
Attention to detail with a focus on governance and quality assurance
It is a strong plus if you have:
Experience with Clarity, SharePoint, and GPDM tools
Knowledge of the Global Transformation Change Framework
Experience with Agile or hybrid project delivery approaches
Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
Exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven projects
