Project Management Officer

Kraków - based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).
As a Project Management Officer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution that is delivering complex transformation initiatives across multiple business areas. You will be supporting a portfolio of strategic projects by coordinating reporting, monitoring risks and issues, and ensuring adherence to project management standards. In this role, you are collaborating with stakeholders across different regions, managing documentation, and helping to track project milestones and financial performance. Your work is enabling consistency, transparency, and success in the delivery of high-impact programmes.
Your main responsibilities:
Tracking financial performance across a portfolio of projects
Monitoring statuses of deliverables, milestones, risks, and issues
Coordinating regular reporting at project and programme levels
Managing the collection, collation, and processing of project information
Assisting with the implementation of project standards across initiatives
Updating and maintaining project documentation and process information
Organizing and coordinating governance meetings for projects and programmes
Supporting consistency and quality assurance across project delivery processes
You're ideal for this role if you have:
Bringing at least 3 years of experience in project management support roles
Understanding portfolio financial management principles
Applying knowledge of project management methodologies including agile
Using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word effectively
Organizing and structuring projects, processes, and communications clearly
Leveraging collaboration platforms like Confluence, Teams, and Jira
Communicating effectively in both written and verbal formats
Working comfortably in global virtual teams across cultures and geographies
Showing independence, initiative, and adaptability in varied responsibilities
Supporting planning, reporting, governance, and risk management activities consistently
It is a strong plus if you have:
Holding a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
Paying close attention to detail in documentation and reporting
Working effectively in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities
