As an Azure Product Owner, you will be working for our client, a leader in online banking, supporting the development and maintenance of cloud-based solutions. You will act as a bridge between business and development teams, ensuring the effective implementation of cloud products on Microsoft Azure. Your key responsibilities will include defining product vision, prioritizing functionalities, and managing the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to align the product with functional, security, and user expectations while driving innovation in cloud-based banking services.
Your main responsibilities: Define product strategy and manage the roadmap to align with business goals and stakeholder needs
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business and technical requirements
- Plan and oversee release cycles, coordinating new product versions and monitoring implementations
- Present product development progress and facilitate knowledge sharing within IT teams
- Collaborate closely with development, security, and system administration teams
- Analyze and collect requirements, translating business needs into actionable user stories
- Monitor project progress, report results, and implement process improvements
- Identify and introduce innovative solutions and technology trends that enhance the product
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in cloud-based banking solutions
- Support Agile methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 2-3 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a related role within cloud-based projects
- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure and related cloud technologies
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
- Strong analytical skills to assess data and define key areas for product development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and product features
- Proven track record in managing product lifecycle and release planning
- Understanding of security and compliance considerations for cloud platforms
- English proficiency for communication in an international environment
- Self-driven attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Nice to have:
- Certifications such as CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner), PMP, or other project management-related certifications
- Microsoft Azure certifications, e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer
- Experience using project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Understanding of DevOps practices and deployment automation processes
