As a PC FCD Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution undergoing significant transformation within its Global Markets division. You will be supporting strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing financial processes and systems. This role involves close collaboration with the product control team, focusing on impact assessments, documentation of business changes, and validation of benefits. You’ll be instrumental in aligning project delivery with organizational goals while ensuring high standards of quality, timeliness, and stakeholder communication are consistently met.
Your main responsibilities:
Producing detailed project analysis including data assessment, process mapping and benefit validation
Collaborating with the product control team to assess the operational impact of changes
Documenting business requirements and expected outcomes in line with internal change frameworks
Acting as the Finance lead during system testing to ensure all requirements are adequately covered
Coordinating Finance-related activities for User Acceptance Testing
Supporting stakeholders by preparing clear and structured project documentation
Monitoring progress and ensuring assigned tasks are being completed on schedule
Communicating effectively across teams to align expectations and share updates
Identifying risks or issues and helping in developing mitigation strategies
Supporting change adoption by documenting benefits and aligning changes with business processes
You're ideal for this role if you have:
Prior experience working in Global Banking and Markets, particularly in finance or accounting functions
At least two years of experience in project delivery within a financial services environment
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently while contributing actively to team success
Good understanding of the project lifecycle and change management processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access
Self-motivation and adaptability in fast-paced, dynamic environments
A delivery-focused approach with a commitment to high quality outcomes
Ability to build relationships and influence diverse stakeholders
It is a strong plus if you have:
A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA)
Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks
Demonstrated experience producing process maps and financial documentation
Experience working with third-party consultants or cross-functional global teams
