Mobile Test Engineer

As a Mobile Test Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution developing a cutting-edge digital wealth platform set to launch in 2025. This platform empowers customers with seamless mobile access to personalized investment portfolios, diverse asset types, and next-generation tools for managing their wealth. Built using advanced mobile and cloud technologies, the platform emphasizes scalability, performance, and user-centric design. You’ll be part of an agile team ensuring quality and reliability across iOS and Android apps, helping deliver an exceptional digital experience to millions of users worldwide.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborating with developers, analysts, and designers to align on quality goals

• Designing and executing test cases for mobile platforms using manual and automated methods

• Performing functional, regression, performance, and security testing on mobile apps

• Identifying and logging bugs, and tracking resolutions using defect management tools

• Participating in agile ceremonies and contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives

• Reviewing user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity and testability

• Continuously improving testing processes and contributing to QA best practices

• Conducting usability testing across a wide range of mobile devices and OS versions

• Staying current with mobile testing trends, tools, and technologies

• Ensuring seamless integration of test automation into CI/CD pipelines

  
  

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience in mobile testing on both iOS and Android platforms

• Proficiency with Appium, Selenium, or equivalent testing frameworks

• Experience in both manual and automated testing approaches

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams

• Strong understanding of mobile ecosystems, devices, and OS versions

• Excellent defect detection, tracking, and communication skills

• Experience using tools like JIRA for bug and task management

• Knowledge of QA methodologies, standards, and best practices

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments

• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills

  
  

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Hands-on experience with test automation in Java or Python

• Exposure to security and performance testing on mobile platforms

• Experience with CI/CD tools and integration into automated pipelines

• Familiarity with Accessibility testing for mobile applications

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and mobile app back-end integration
