Mid/Sr Guidewire Developer (Insurance)

As a Guidewire Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading insurance provider known for its innovative approach to digital transformation within the financial sector. They are embarking on a critical project focused on enhancing and expanding their core claims management system, utilizing cutting-edge Guidewire technology. This initiative aims to streamline operations, improve customer experience, and integrate seamlessly with various external applications, ultimately modernizing their infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing robust solutions that directly impact the client's efficiency and service delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

Your main responsibilities:

1. Design and program solutions within Guidewire ClaimCenter 10
2. Integrate Guidewire with external applications
3. Provide technical support during analysis
4. Create unit tests
5. Ensure code quality and optimization

You're ideal for this role if you have:

1. Minimum 2 years of experience programming in Gosu and Guidewire ClaimCenter
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in object-oriented programming (e.g., Java)
3. Good knowledge of relational databases
4. Good knowledge of Web Service, REST API, and XML technologies
5. Experience applying good programming practices and design patterns
6. Good command of English for reading technical documentation
7. Ability to organize your own work and collaborate within a team
8. Completed first-degree studies in a relevant field
9. Experience working with version control systems (Git) (nice to have)
10. Participation in projects conducted according to Scrum principles using project management tools like JIRA or Confluence
11. Knowledge of Spring Boot, IBM MQ (nice to have)
