Mid/Senior Java Developer 💻

Warsaw-based opportunity with a hybrid model of work

As a Mid/Senior Java Developer, you'll join our client - one of the largest investment banks in the world, to work with their development team and play a key role in shaping the future of new Risk Remediation Uplift initiative to identify, assess, and mitigate risks to enhance the bank's overall risk management framework.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java.
• Apply object-oriented design principles to create robust and scalable applications.
• Utilize Java frameworks like DropWizard, Spring, and Hibernate to build and manage application infrastructure.
• Work with distributed storage systems.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git to streamline development and deployment processes.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong programming skills in Java with proficiency in object-oriented design principles
• Experience with Java frameworks such as DropWizard, Spring and Hibernate
• Familiarity with distributed storage systems like DB2, ORacle, Cassandra, MongoDB
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines especially using Git
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux experience

Bonus Points:

• Familiarity with web development frameworks (Angular or React)
• Experience in the Banking industry.
• Knowledge of distributed system design.
