As a Mid-Level Test Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading technology provider specializing in security solutions and PKI infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing product quality through advanced testing practices, contributing to secure and reliable deployment of critical systems. Your main responsibilities:
- Responsible for executing comprehensive testing, documentation, and reporting of test results.
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing across external and internal products.
- Analyze testing processes continuously, identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and refine test specifications, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams to define test paths that enhance product deployment.
- Utilize automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, Postman, and others.
- Support software release processes using deployment tools like GitHub and Jenkins.
- Maintain and analyze databases, including Microsoft SQL, to support testing activities.
- Apply knowledge of PKI, certificates, and identity access management (RBAC, Privileged Access Management).
- Work within IT Service Management frameworks (ITIL), using ServiceNow for incident and change management.
- Contribute to the optimization of IT infrastructure platforms, including VMware, Windows, Linux, and networks.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 4 years of experience in testing or a related field.
- Deep technical expertise in functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Strong knowledge of PKI, certificates, and certificate authorities.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting languages such as Python.
- Familiarity with industry-standard SDLC tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and configuration management.
- Understanding of databases, especially Microsoft SQL.
- Experience with Identity Access Management concepts and tools.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components: VMware, Windows, Linux, Firewalls, and Networks.
- Ability to work independently and manage milestones effectively.
- Proven track record of innovative thinking and process improvement.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience working in large organizations, preferably in the Financial Sector.
- Venafi TPP knowledge and experience.
- Certifications in testing, security, or related fields.
