As a Mid-Level Mainframe Automation Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global leader in mainframe technology solutions. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing innovative monitoring and automation solutions on IBM System Automation platforms, crucial for maintaining system availability, security, and recoverability across enterprise environments. Your main responsibilities:

• Administer and support Mainframe System Automation tools to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Deliver automation solutions aligned with business needs, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with global IT teams to understand requirements and develop tailored automation rules and monitoring strategies.
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues to ensure timely resolution within established deadlines.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive organizational automation goals.
• Support change, incident, and problem management processes related to Mainframe systems.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Mainframe systems, especially in automation areas.
• Hands-on knowledge of Mainframe automation products such as IBM System Automation, OPS/MVS, or NetView.
• Proficiency in scripting and coding using REXX.
• Understanding of ITIL-based process frameworks (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and provide production support for IBM z/OS Mainframe environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Experience with OPS/MVS product.
• Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Jira, and GitHub.

• Fluent English proficiency.
