As a Mid-Level AI Data Engineer – Generative AI Data Integration, you will be working for our client, a leading tech organization dedicated to delivering cutting-edge Generative AI solutions. Your role will focus on enhancing data utilization, unlocking new insights, and powering innovative AI-driven decisions that transform business processes. Your main responsibilities:

• Develop data sources for agents sourcing data from various systems used by GenAI models.
• Create robust data transfer pipelines to ensure seamless data flow.
• Design and implement microservices synchronized with overall GenAI solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data integration and model performance.
• Maintain and enhance databases including MongoDB, Vector stores, Hadoop, and others.
• Enable data virtualisation and manage cloud platform integrations on Google Cloud Platform and Azure Cloud.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Proficiency with Python (FastAPI) and microservices architecture.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, GCP BigQuery, and Vector stores.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms: Google Cloud Platform and Azure Cloud.
• Knowledge of Google ADK, Memory stores, RAGs, Context Engineering, and Evaluation systems.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Certification in cloud engineering or data architecture.
• Experience with Hadoop or Starburst (Data Virtualization).

Language required for the role:

• Communicative English (fluent written and spoken).

Eligibility for the role:

• Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role.
• 3 remote days per week are permitted.
