Manual Tester (mobile+ backend)

Łódź-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month)

As a Manual Tester you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, supporting the development of modern mobile solutions used daily by thousands of customers. You will be involved in ensuring the quality and reliability of mobile systems by designing and executing test scenarios, collaborating closely with business users, and contributing to the refinement of new functionalities. In this role, you will help shape innovative financial products by validating requirements, improving testing documentation, and ensuring a seamless user experience across the client’s digital environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Conduct project work and test mobile IT systems

• Develop and maintain test scenarios

• Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements for new solutions

• Create and maintain test documentation

• Report defects

• Support the team in improving testing processes

• Assist in verifying functional and non-functional requirements

• Participate in reviews of specifications and business needs

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Experience in manual testing of mobile applications

• Experience in preparing test conditions and test scenarios

• Basic knowledge of software development processes

• Basic knowledge of testing tools and methods

• Knowledge of ISTQB

• Strong independence, goal orientation and excellent work organization

• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively within a team

• Strong communication skills and curiosity when cooperating with business stakeholders and external vendors

• Ability to collaborate smoothly within cross-functional teams

• English proficiency enabling comfortable work with documentation 

Nice to have:

• Ability to read/analyze logs

• Knowledge of MS SQL, Postman

• Knowledge of Splunk

• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, TeamCity, SonarQube
