As a L1 Support Analyst you will be working for our client, a global financial services leader providing innovative solutions to millions of customers worldwide. You will be part of a dynamic team supporting a wide portfolio of business-critical applications, ensuring their stability, compliance, and smooth operation. This role involves close collaboration with application managers and users, focusing on incident management, release coordination, and troubleshooting. You will play a key role in maintaining production environments healthy and secure, while continuously enhancing operational efficiency.
Your main responsibilities:
Perform L1 production support activities for a portfolio of applications
Manage and process L1 PROD incidents related to supported applications
Maintain the PROD incident queue with focus on timely resolution
Provide technical and business support for users and application managers
Coordinate application PROD releases, testing and deployment into production
Conduct continuity of business testing and support infrastructure maintenance
Perform post-release checkouts after application releases and updates
Develop and maintain accurate technical support documentation
Analyze applications to identify risks, vulnerabilities and security issues
You're ideal for this role if you have:
Around 2 years of experience in application production support or development
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
Basic understanding of technology platforms and infrastructure (Win/Linux/Weblogic/Websphere/SQL/Oracle/MQ/NDM)
Understanding of information security aspects
Experience working as part of a project team in Waterfall or Agile environments
Ability to plan and organize workload effectively
Basic business knowledge or understanding of financial markets and products
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Fluency in English
