Java Fullstack Developer

Kraków - based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).

As a Java/React Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution undergoing a major transformation in its digital and infrastructure landscape. You will be part of a dynamic team building scalable and secure microservice-based applications to support core banking services. The role involves end-to-end development using modern back-end and front-end technologies, contributing to innovative solutions in a fast-paced, Agile-driven environment while ensuring alignment with security and regulatory standards.

Your main responsibilities:

• Developing high-quality, scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot

• Designing and implementing responsive front-end interfaces using JavaScript frameworks

• Integrating with databases like MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB for data persistence

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and performant solutions

• Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to sprint planning and reviews

• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Conducting unit and integration testing to ensure application reliability

• Supporting production deployments and resolving technical issues

• Reviewing peer code and sharing best practices across the team

• Continuously improving system architecture and technical processes

  
  

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Java full stack engineer

• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot for building microservices

• Proficiency with at least one JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL or MongoDB

• Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools

• Ability to write clean, efficient, and secure code

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• A degree in engineering, information systems, or related field

• Fluency in English

  
  

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Node.js, Ruby, or Golang

• Background in financial services or investment banking environments

• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines

• Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
