As a Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading insurance company, on a critical project focused on enhancing customer communication security. You will take the lead in designing and developing a new microservice responsible for the management and storage of customer passwords. This component is essential for ensuring that when a customer receives a document, they can securely access it using a password that is safely stored and retrievable from our database. The project involves creating services that will allow customers to set and view their passwords through the client portal, which requires robust decoding capabilities to display them when needed.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing the architecture of the new microservice for password management

• Developing and implementing the core functionalities in Java

• Ensuring the security and integrity of password storage and retrieval processes

• Creating and managing services for the customer portal integration

• Building robust decoding functionalities for password viewing

• Collaborating with the team to define project specifications and deliverables

• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code

• Deploying and maintaining the application on JBoss/Wildfly servers

• Managing project dependencies and builds using Maven or Gradle

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Java development

• Proven experience with Java 8/21

• Strong proficiency in the Spring framework

• Hands-on experience with JBoss/Wildfly application servers

• Expertise in building and managing projects with Maven or Gradle

• A solid understanding of microservices architecture principles

• Experience in designing and developing secure applications

• Knowledge of database management and data security practices

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
