As a Senior Java Developer – Full Stack Focus, you will be working for our client, a leading financial technology division within a global banking organization. You’ll contribute to cutting-edge projects supporting the Investment Banking and Global Markets sectors, enabling smarter banking solutions through agile, innovative software development. This role offers an excellent chance for career growth within a tech-driven financial environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate within a cross-functional team of 4–6 members, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle—from analysis and iteration planning to testing and production support.

• Break down business requirements into manageable user stories, delivering each incrementally to production.

• Support and maintain existing products, ensuring they meet quality standards through proactive identification of technical debt and continuous improvement.

• Design and implement solutions for new features, ensuring adherence to technology guidelines and constraints.

• Pair programming and knowledge sharing with team members to foster a collaborative environment.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 4 years of experience in software development, particularly in Java and SQL.

• Demonstrable experience with Java, JavaScript (client & server-side), and version control systems like GIT.

• Working knowledge of UNIX environments and understanding of databases from a consumer perspective.

• Familiarity with HTTP APIs, especially RESTful APIs.

• Fluent English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within an international team.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Experience with React or other JavaScript frameworks.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms.

• Certifications in Java or full-stack development.

• Fluent English (both written and spoken).
