IT Continuity Lead (ServiceNow)

Kraków-based opportunity with the possibility to work 40% remotely!

As an IT Continuity Lead, you will be working for our client, a global banking institution with a strong presence in cybersecurity and IT risk management, contributing to a platform located in Portugal. Your mission is to ensure critical systems can recover effectively in the event of disruptions, collaborating closely with IT asset managers and stakeholders to evaluate, document, and improve recovery strategies. Your expertise will help ensure IT continuity risks are addressed proactively, incidents are analyzed thoroughly, and lessons learned are applied. 

Your main responsibilities: Implement IT continuity policies, reference frameworks, methods, and tools

• Develop and maintain IT continuity policies in line with group standards

• Coordinate IT asset classification and validate data consistency in ServiceNow

• Support IT asset managers in developing recovery strategies for DR scenarios

• Improve the quality and compliance of IT continuity plans

• Schedule and coordinate IT continuity exercises to validate recovery capabilities

• Track the execution of DR tests, verify evidence, and analyze exercise reports

• Monitor and analyze incidents affecting IT continuity and propose corrective actions

• Maintain detailed documentation on continuity procedures, plans, and incidents

• Conduct training and awareness programs to promote IT continuity best practices

  
  

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience in IT Continuity or Disaster Recovery (3–5 years)

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage

• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar continuity management tools

• Expertise in cloud services, virtualization, and cybersecurity best practices

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong organizational and documentation abilities

• Ability to train and support stakeholders in continuity practices

• Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills

• Fluent English, both written and spoken

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
