IT Business Analyst

Warsaw-based position, with remote work 2 days a week!

As a IT Business Analyst, you will be working for one of the most prestigious investment banks in the world. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring seamless delivery of business requirements and project milestones. This position will offer you the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to operational excellence.

Your main responsibilities:

• Communicate with stakeholders to gather and share business and development requirements
• Provide suggestions and solutions to the development team to fulfill business needs
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and create JIRA items for tracking
• Maintain Confluence pages by uploading relevant information and sharing useful content
• Prepare presentations for client and management meetings or ad-hoc projects
• Manage sprints in JIRA and lead Scrum calls to drive high-performance outcomes
• Monitor infrastructure and software upgrades to prevent non-compliance and outage risks
• Generate and manage ad-hoc, daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or production checkouts as needed
• Maintain and update project scope documents and track the book-of-work for the year
• Mentor new team members and provide knowledge transfer sessions
• Assist in identifying and resolving production issues by offering potential solutions

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 6+ years of experience in the IT industry
• Intermediate knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL Oracle Developer, and Postman
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple efforts and shifting priorities
• A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience); a master’s degree in a business-related field is preferred
• Enhanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• A proactive, results-oriented mindset with attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information
