IT Analyst (Finance)

Warszawa-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month).

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst – Banking & TI Project, you will be working for our client, a leader in the banking industry dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions for corporate and investment banking. Your expertise will drive the revision, development, and optimization of core banking systems, supporting the creation of secure, efficient, and innovative financial services. Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the cross-functional IT team to define and develop business system requirements aligned with project goals.

• Analyze banking processes and translate business needs into detailed functional specifications.

• Work closely with developers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure system solutions meet business expectations.

• Support and facilitate the implementation of system changes, including testing, validation, and documentation.

• Contribute to process improvements and the development of user-friendly, reliable banking applications.

• Communicate effectively with end-users and internal teams, gathering requirements and providing technical support.

• Utilize agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban) to ensure flexible, iterative project delivery.

• Engage in integration and migration projects, ensuring seamless data and system transition.

  
  

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in business systems analysis within banking or financial services.

• Strong knowledge of banking processes, especially in corporate or investment banking.

• Proficiency in defining requirements, preparing functional specifications, and analyzing business needs.

• Experience working with custom banking applications and integration projects.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including Visual Basic, and basic knowledge of SQL.

• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Gliffy.

• Excellent communication skills in Polish and a good command of English.

• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with strong organizational skills.

  
  

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of banking systems, central bank operations, or financial regulations.

• Experience with tools supporting testing automation (e.g., Selenium, SoapUI).

• Knowledge of XML, JSON, REST protocols, DDD, SOA, MQ messaging, and asynchronous communication.
