Drive Innovation in Data Warehousing: IPC Developer Role

Warsaw based opportunity with remote work model (2 days in the office/month).

As an IPC Developer, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, helping to develop and optimize their data warehouse and information systems. In this role, you will contribute to the design and implementation of ETL processes, work with advanced database solutions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality analytical environments. Your expertise will support the transformation of raw data into actionable insights, driving innovation in business intelligence and data solutions for the financial industry.

You're main responsibilities: Conducting design and implementation work in the development of data warehouses and information systems.

• Designing algorithms and implementing ETL processes.
• Participating in the implementation of the Informatica tool.
• Designing databases and reporting-analytical marts.
• Designing, implementing, and developing reporting-analytical environments based on BI-class environments.
• Quality control of work performed by others – testing IT solutions.
• Preparing technical specifications and project, technical, and administrative documentation.
• Preparing software installation packages.
• Preparing software acceptance processes and participating in the handover of systems for operation.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Good knowledge of the Informatica Power Center platform for building ETL processes.
• At least 6 months in the design, implementation, and deployment of ETL solutions based on the Informatica Power Center platform.
• At least 1 year in the design, implementation, and deployment of information systems in an Oracle database environment.
• Good knowledge of RDBMS Oracle 9i/10g in database and application design.
• Very good knowledge of SQL and familiarity with PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of IT systems engineering issues and development methodologies.
• Practical experience in designing and programming data warehouses and information systems for financial institutions, telecommunications, or institutions of a similar nature concerning the scope, scale, complexity, and quality of IT solutions.
• Knowledge of English at a level enabling communication and reading of technical documentation and literature.

Nice to have:

• Theoretical knowledge and practical experience in Big Data topics.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) concepts.
• Ability to work with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiarity with tools: SQL Developer, SVN, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence.
