As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution undergoing a major DevOps and SDLC automation transformation. You will contribute to developing innovative software delivery workflows that accelerate the deployment of secure and compliant applications. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside top technology experts to embed automation into the software delivery lifecycle, ensuring faster and more efficient releases. You will be part of a team that enables engineering teams to meet regulatory requirements while reducing delivery obstacles through automation, making it easier to implement best practices.
Your main responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, integrating, and testing workflow automation solutions
- Developing and maintaining full-stack applications to support DevOps initiatives
- Enhancing software delivery pipelines to enable faster and safer releases
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align development and deployment strategies
- Providing production and development support following a "you build it, you run it" approach
- Implementing test-driven development practices to improve code reliability
- Applying architectural and design patterns to build scalable and maintainable systems
- Troubleshooting issues related to software delivery and deployment pipelines
- Working within an agile environment, ensuring continuous integration and deployment
- Communicating effectively with internal teams to drive DevOps best practices
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer in an enterprise environment
- Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, Python, and Shell Scripting
- Hands-on experience with Git, particularly GitHub
- Deep understanding of DevOps principles and automation in software delivery
- Experience designing and implementing SDLC automation solutions
- Familiarity with test-driven development methodologies
- Knowledge of architectural and design patterns for scalable applications
- Ability to troubleshoot complex software and infrastructure issues
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Adaptability and a problem-solving attitude
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with Jenkins and Ansible for CI/CD automation
- Familiarity with Nexus and Nexus IQ for artifact management
- Understanding of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana/Splunk
- Experience working in highly regulated environments with compliance requirements
- Exposure to agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration
