As a DevOps Engineer, you will be assigned to our client - a renowned Investment Bank. We need you to help our Client identify issues that traditional banks are facing in the time of cloud revolution and to help accelerate processes. This is an opportunity to be associated with most modern and exciting IT projects in the banking sector.
Your main responsibilities: Build cloud base solutions in the area of financial market / fin-tech
- Automate CI / CD pipelines
- Support the engineering team in building & design highly fault-tolerant applications and infrastructure
- Develop automation tools to ensure our services can scale and are highly available
- Harden our infrastructure through increasing service security, redundancy and monitoring
- Continuously improve and care of the CI/CD environment
- Support and monitor server and network environments daily
- Support disaster recovery, backup, redundancy and capacity planning activities
As an ideal Candidate you have:
- 3 + years - excellent engineering knowledge of Azure in general with development experience of Azure Policies and creating and maintaining container images (docker)
- 3+ years developing ci /cd pipelines, gitlab, deep understanding of devops and devops tools / methodology and agile processes
- Know-how to apply standards, methods, techniques and templates as defined by our SDL
- Produce secure and clean code that is stable, operational, consistent and well-performing
- Preferable previous experience in designing, planning and delivering solutions in a large scale enterprise environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a focus in Computer Science ore related technology field
- Committed and visionary team player with analytical and logical mind-set (you can solve problems like nobody’s business)
- Well organized with an innate sense of how to prioritize across a complex environment
- A hands-on person with natural instincts to support our customers
- Curious, collaborative and constantly interested in learning new things
- Good in English and eager to work in an English Speaking Global Team
