As an Automation Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial services organization focused on modernizing its infrastructure and improving operational efficiency. You will be involved in implementing automation solutions across multiple environments, streamlining processes, and ensuring seamless integration of distributed systems. Your work will directly impact the reliability and scalability of the client’s systems, while allowing you to apply your expertise in scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code principles to complex projects that require both technical skill and collaborative problem-solving.

Your main responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining automation scripts using Python, Shell, and Ansible

• Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins

• Managing and troubleshooting Linux systems and command-line operations

• Applying technical documentation to integrate unfamiliar technologies

• Supporting integration of distributed systems and ensuring reliability

• Collaborating with teams to identify and implement process improvements

• Monitoring automation workflows and resolving operational issues

• Promoting infrastructure-as-code principles and continuous improvement initiatives

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience in automation using Python, Shell scripting, and Ansible

• Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance

• Strong working knowledge of Linux systems and command-line operations

• Ability to absorb and apply technical documentation efficiently

• Solid understanding of integration concepts and distributed systems

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Passion for continuous improvement and automation

• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly

It is a strong plus if you have:
