As a Data Privacy Manager, you will be working for our client, a globally recognized financial institution committed to delivering secure and efficient data management solutions. You will be joining the DataVisa Operations team within Group Data Privacy Management, focusing on enhancing compliance with data privacy laws, conducting privacy assessments, and ensuring adherence to global data policies. In this role, you will contribute to strengthening customer trust and supporting business programs by reducing data privacy risks and driving operational excellence.
- Guiding business users across multiple markets to use the DataVisa tool effectively and input cases accurately
- Performing privacy assessments on operational processes to identify and mitigate risks
- Supporting project managers in understanding and implementing data privacy initiatives
- Acting as a subject matter expert on global data privacy laws and regulations
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of data standards, policies, and methodologies
- Developing and delivering guidance, training, and educational materials
- Identifying and addressing areas of improvement in local data privacy practices
- Supporting the creation and enforcement of data privacy and protection controls
- Conducting gap analyses for legislation compliance and coordinating remedial programs
- Planning future data privacy needs in collaboration with key stakeholders
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- In-depth knowledge of privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA
- Experience working in an Organization’s Privacy office or with Data Privacy officers
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and building business partnerships
- A proven ability to identify and mitigate data risks effectively
- The ability to prioritize tasks under pressure and handle changing priorities
- A track record of independently taking ownership of work and delivering results
- Fluent English
- Experience in financial or data-intensive industries
- Familiarity with global business functions and technology concepts
- Experience in developing training and awareness programs on data privacy
- Knowledge of data governance tools and methodologies
