Kraków - based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).
As a PMO you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution undertaking complex data-driven transformation programmes to enhance operational efficiency and governance across its international network. You will be part of a team driving delivery excellence, ensuring that all initiatives meet strategic objectives within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Acting as the central point of coordination for programme governance, you will be ensuring compliance with change management frameworks, promoting agile best practices, and maintaining transparency through effective reporting and stakeholder management.
Your main responsibilities:
Supporting the Programme Manager to ensure successful delivery within cost, quality, and time objectives
Managing and monitoring governance processes in line with the client’s Change Framework
Tracking and escalating RAID items to ensure timely resolution
Preparing and reviewing business cases and change requests for governance forums
Facilitating programme governance meetings and recording key actions and decisions
Monitoring and reporting on project budgets, benefits, OKRs, and expenditure
Performing quality assurance checks throughout the delivery lifecycle
Maintaining accurate project documentation, process artefacts, and repositories
Advising teams on agile methodologies and use of tools such as Jira and Confluence
Sharing lessons learned and promoting delivery standards across the organisation
You're ideal for this role if you have:
2–5 years of experience in a PMO or project delivery support role
Proven experience working within financial services or data-related change initiatives
Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence for project tracking and reporting
Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills within a global matrix structure
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present project data effectively
Experience coordinating programme governance and assurance activities
Ability to influence and build relationships across technical and business teams
Proven capability in supporting process improvement and standardisation initiatives
Excellent verbal and written communication in English
It is a strong plus if you have:
Familiarity with the client’s Change Framework or similar enterprise change standards
Experience preparing and reviewing complex business cases for governance forums
Knowledge of OKR tracking and benefits realisation management
Exposure to DAO or Centre of Excellence environments
Understanding of financial governance, budgeting, and cost control processes
