As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a globally recognized financial institution driving large-scale digital transformation with a strong emphasis on security and automation. You will be contributing to the development and implementation of secure, efficient CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure to support robust software delivery and compliance standards. This role sits at the intersection of development, operations, and cybersecurity, enabling seamless integration of security controls and automation tools to protect complex hybrid environments.
Your main responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
Collaborating with cybersecurity teams to embed security practices across the SDLC
Designing and deploying infrastructure as code using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and G3
Implementing threat detection and monitoring solutions across hybrid environments
Automating compliance and security checks using DevSecOps methodologies
Working with development teams to support secure coding and vulnerability remediation
Supporting incident response with automated tools for log analysis and mitigation
Enhancing system performance and reliability through proactive tuning and monitoring
Managing and improving container security using Docker and Kubernetes
Staying current with DevOps and cybersecurity trends, tools, and practices
You're ideal for this role if you have:
Experience in DevOps, development, or infrastructure engineering with a security focus
Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, G3, or Azure DevOps
Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration tools
Solid understanding of Linux systems, especially Red Hat, and troubleshooting techniques
Experience developing and debugging CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical teams
Ability to prioritize and deliver high-impact initiatives efficiently
A proactive, self-starting mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
It is a strong plus if you have:
Experience with tools and services previously used by the client, such as ICE or Cyberflows
Exposure to database systems like Postgres and platforms like ServiceNow
Front-end automation experience using JavaScript, React, or Angular
Cybersecurity certifications related to networking, SSO, SSL, or firewalls
