Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week).
As a Senior Active Directory & Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leader in enterprise IT infrastructure, dedicated to safeguarding digital assets and optimizing identity management across complex environments. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the security and operational health of critical systems, enabling the organization to achieve secure digital transformation and resilient IT operations.
Your main responsibilities:
Monitor and resolve incidents and service requests related to Active Directory and cybersecurity issues.
Perform user and group administration, permissions modifications, and organizational unit (OU) moves.
Investigate and troubleshoot replication, login, and authentication issues within Active Directory and related systems.
Respond promptly to tickets and escalations, collaborating during outages and incident crises.
Own root cause analysis and problem management for the corporate identity management environment.
Collaborate closely with audit teams to ensure timely progress on compliance and audit-related items.
Implement and enforce security standards, procedures, and controls for access and identity management.
Develop documentation and ensure best practices for Windows Server, ADFS, AZURE, AD/LDS, DNS, DHCP, and related components.
Leverage tools like Quest, SCCM, SCOM, and Windows Security to enhance operational efficiency.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Active Directory and cybersecurity in a corporate environment.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, ADFS, AZURE, and AD/LDS.
Hands-on experience with cloud services such as Google Cloud, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
Proven track record of deep troubleshooting, especially with group policies and event logs.
Ability to translate complex technical issues into understandable language for end users.
Strong understanding of Windows Server (2012 & 2019), DNS, DHCP, and core security principles.
Demonstrated responsibility growth, including handling incident responses and problem management.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
Certifications in cybersecurity, Microsoft, or cloud technologies.
Experience with security frameworks and audit processes.
Language Required for the role:
Fluent English, with excellent communication skills.
