Cryptography SME Lead – Security Assurance & Consultancy

Kraków-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week).

As a Senior Lead SME in Cryptography, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution, specializing in securing digital banking services and infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure cryptography standards and security measures uphold the integrity and confidentiality of critical data, while supporting continuous technological advancement within a prestigious international environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Manage cryptography security assurance reviews and consultancy services.
• Process requests in ServiceNow within the defined SLAs, ensuring timely responses.
• Address cryptography-related queries, escalating non-standard issues as needed.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, building strong working relationships.
• Identify and report gaps in cryptography processes, recommending improvements.
• Contribute to continuous data quality enhancement and issue resolution.
• Maintain detailed documentation aligned with regulatory and security standards.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 4 years of experience in cryptography, security, or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills and operational effectiveness in security environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of cryptographic mechanisms and security standards.
• Proficient in documentation and reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Experience working with regulatory compliance documentation.
• Background in technology development or security assurance consulting.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
