Kraków - based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).
As a Cost Modelling Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution undergoing complex transformation to enhance regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. You will be contributing to a large-scale strategic initiative focused on developing and automating end-to-end cost modelling and assessment tools aligned with PRA and TWD regulatory standards. In close partnership with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders, you are playing a pivotal role in defining the future operating model, ensuring tool readiness, process controls, and governance structures are designed and implemented to support sustainable regulatory reporting.
Your main responsibilities:
Defining and enhancing functional requirements for cost assessment tooling
Collaborating with Finance and IT teams to develop and test automated tools
Coordinating with stakeholders to validate solution design and implementation
Leading the definition of the Target Operating Model and associated controls
Designing and documenting standard operating procedures for new processes
Facilitating and supporting end-to-end test scenarios across business units
Maintaining compliance with internal standards and regulatory guidelines
Driving continuous improvement in business process effectiveness
Participating actively in working groups, committees, and cross-functional teams
Building collaborative relationships with global and regional finance stakeholders
You're ideal for this role if you have:
Strong experience in regulatory cost modelling within a financial institution
Proven ability to gather, analyze, and define complex functional requirements
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Background in delivering finance or regulatory technology projects
Familiarity with Target Operating Models and process design
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements such as PRA/TWD
Experience in test planning and execution within financial environments
Understanding of financial controls and governance frameworks
Ability to work collaboratively across regions and teams
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
It is a strong plus if you have:
Experience working with Strategic Cost Management or RRP teams
Knowledge of tooling or automation platforms used in finance
Familiarity with Group Standards Manuals and Functional Instruction Manuals
Background in managing data quality and control within regulatory tools
