Power BI & SQL Expert? Lead Data Insights for a Top-Tier Bank!

Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (3 days in the office/week).

As a Business Intelligence Expert, you will be working for our client, one of the biggest banks, on a hyperpersonalization project. Your role will focus on designing and developing advanced reporting solutions, using Power BI to visualize data and SQL to support reporting processes. You will work closely with the business to analyze requirements, optimize existing dashboards, and maintain reporting documentation. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to critical data-driven decision-making by improving the functionality and efficiency of reporting systems.

Your main responsibilities: 

• Design, implement, and develop reports and data visualizations using Power BI

• Analyze and interpret business requirements to deliver accurate reporting solutions

• Create SQL queries and procedures to support reporting processes

• Optimize existing reports and dashboards to enhance functionality and performance

• Maintain the reporting portal and ensure up-to-date technical documentation

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that reporting needs are met

• Identify opportunities for improvement in reporting processes and workflows

• Test and validate data reports to ensure accuracy and reliability

• Stay updated on the latest tools and technologies related to data visualization and reporting

• Provide training and support to other team members on reporting tools

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 4 years of experience developing reporting systems with Power BI

• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including report development and dashboard design

• Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience in writing complex queries

• Hands on experience with Databricks

• Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to process and interpret large datasets

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

• A high level of responsibility for assigned tasks and a drive for continuous learning and improvement

• Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Experience maintaining technical documentation for reporting systems
