Kraków-based opportunity with a hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).

As a Business Data Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, driving data-led transformation across multiple business lines. You will be contributing to initiatives focused on improving data quality, governance, and lifecycle management to ensure accurate and consistent information across global systems. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to capture business requirements, analyse data processes, and support the implementation of solutions that enhance operational efficiency and regulatory compliance, helping the organisation achieve its digital transformation goals.

Your main responsibilities:

• Gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements across multiple regions

• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify business needs and define data-related solutions

• Supporting data governance, data quality, and information lifecycle management initiatives

• Translating business requirements into functional specifications and user stories

• Coordinating with technology teams to ensure alignment between business and technical goals

• Supporting project delivery through requirements validation and acceptance testing

• Maintaining traceability of business requirements throughout the project lifecycle

• Facilitating workshops and meetings with stakeholders across countries

• Ensuring adherence to organisational standards and project governance frameworks

• Monitoring progress and reporting on key project deliverables

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst on complex projects

• Proven experience working on data-related initiatives such as governance or data quality

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience in capturing, analysing, and documenting user requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively across countries and global teams

• Strong understanding of data management principles and lifecycle processes

• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

• Ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements

• Proficiency in standard business analysis tools and documentation techniques

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience working as a Business Analyst in Agile projects

• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory data standards

• Exposure to financial services or banking transformation projects

• Experience with data management or visualisation tools

• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA)
