Kraków-based opportunity with a hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).
As a Business Consultant, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution undertaking major transformation initiatives to streamline operations, enhance customer experience, and align global business processes. You will be supporting key change programs from early-stage design through implementation, helping define business problems, develop target operating models, and drive organizational change. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will be collaborating with business and transformation stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that create measurable business value and ensure sustainable improvements across multiple global functions.
Your main responsibilities:
Supporting the design and implementation of change and transformation initiatives
Analysing current business processes and identifying areas for improvement
Defining business problems and developing effective, data-driven solutions
Coordinating stakeholder engagement and maintaining strong working relationships
Applying agile and design thinking principles to project delivery
Supporting the development of target operating models and business cases
Monitoring plan execution and providing structured progress updates
Bringing structure and clarity to complex or undefined business challenges
Collaborating across global and regional teams to align priorities and objectives
Identifying opportunities to optimise workflows and enhance operational efficiency
You're ideal for this role if you have:
1–2 years of experience in business consulting or change management
Strong understanding of the project lifecycle and transformation frameworks
Knowledge of agile or scrum methodologies of project delivery
Experience supporting organisational change and business transformation programs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data-driven insights
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Understanding of change adoption principles and benefit realisation
Knowledge of key banking domains, such as Retail or Commercial Banking
Proven ability to structure complex issues and deliver practical solutions
Proficiency in spoken and written English
It is a strong plus if you have:
Experience in financial services or other large, complex organisations
Certification in project or agile management (PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile PM)
Experience with Lean Six Sigma or process improvement techniques
Familiarity with design thinking methodologies
Understanding of HSBC standards, processes, and global transformation frameworks
