As a Business Analyst with French, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution undertaking a major digital transformation initiative. The project focuses on the decommissioning of local risk applications within the scope of credit risk management. You will play a key role in analyzing data flows, formalizing system requirements, and ensuring seamless integration within a wider risk models program. The project is in its initial phase, requiring in-depth system analysis to define IT scope and roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams operating in an Agile environment.
Your main responsibilities:
- Analyzing data flows and data sourcing for in-scope applications for the models ed (not limited to: Anadefi, Akido, BDP, OGR, NMC, in relation with System Analysts/ System owners of these Applications and Architects)
- Formalizing system data mapping and ensuring accurate documentation
- Assessing data lineage to enhance data quality and integrity
- Defining and formalizing technical requirements for involved Agile PODs
- Developing test cases and participating in testing activities during the execution phase
- Attending and actively contributing to Agile ceremonies
- Preparing precise reports on achievements and estimates for completion
- Participating in team meetings and cross-functional discussions
- Providing updates to the IT Project Manager and governance structures as needed
- Collaborating with system analysts, application owners, and architects to drive project success
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within risk, finance, or loan data domains
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information
- Fluent French
- Experience working with data flows, data sourcing, and system mappings
- Hands-on experience in technical requirements gathering and documentation
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Fluent English
- Experience in reporting to project managers and governance structures
- Ability to work autonomously while maintaining proactive engagement with teams
- A structured, rigorous, and results-driven mindset
