As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution focused on delivering innovative and strategically aligned solutions. You will be identifying, defining, and solving business problems using systemic thinking and creativity, translating complex information into clear insights for stakeholders. You will anticipate risks, manage requirements, and design solutions that align with business drivers and competitive strategy. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will support programme management through impact assessments, ensure smooth implementation of change initiatives, and help drive business improvements across multiple regions and functions.
Your main responsibilities:
Identifying, analyzing, and solving business problems using systemic thinking
Gathering, documenting, and managing requirements throughout project lifecycle
Translating complex information into clear and structured insights for stakeholders
Designing solutions aligned with business drivers and competitive strategy
Anticipating risks and implementing mitigation actions proactively
Supporting programme management with impact assessments and change initiatives
Driving requirements management processes and ensuring alignment with target operating models
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth solution delivery
Raising challenges constructively and facilitating resolution
Monitoring and supporting implementation of business changes across regions
You're ideal for this role if you have:
Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills
Experience with design techniques and solution modeling
Knowledge of change management and implementation approaches
Experience working in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project methodologies
Familiarity with project management tools such as Confluence, JIRA, MS Office, or Visio
Understanding of banking, financial services, or shared services organizations
Experience managing complex projects across multiple countries or regions
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to anticipate issues and drive proactive solutions
It is a strong plus if you have:
Knowledge of HSBC GPB and Avaloq
Prior experience with large-scale financial programs
Exposure to cross-cultural or global project delivery
Familiarity with business process modeling and impact analysis
Experience in designing solutions for digital transformation initiatives
