Business Analyst – Banking and Financial Services

Lodz-based opportunity with hybrid work model (3 days in the office/week)

As a Mid-Level Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading organization in the online banking sector dedicated to delivering innovative digital solutions for accounts and savings products. You will play a crucial role in supporting complex IT and business initiatives aimed at modernizing core banking systems and enhancing customer-facing financial services. Your main responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements during project initiation and delivery phases

• Develop functional and non-functional requirements specifications and high-level solution designs

• Support analytical work performed by vendors and internal banking units

• Define and analyze banking processes in cooperation with business stakeholders

• Collaborate with system architects, designers, and internal domain experts

• Prepare and review user and automated test scenarios

• Conduct functional testing and support business acceptance testing

• Review technical documentation, architecture, and technologies applied

• Support system parameterization and provide expert guidance post-implementation

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least five years of experience in a Business Analyst role working with business stakeholders

• Experience in banking or financial IT projects

• Strong knowledge of banking processes, regulations, and business operations

• Practical experience in business and system requirements analysis and documentation

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and IT system architecture

• Experience with system and data integration concepts

• Hands-on knowledge of relational databases and data modeling

• Experience in functional and UAT testing activities

• Proficiency with analytical and documentation tools such as Jira or Confluence

• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications in Business Analysis or Financial Services (optional)

Language Required for the role:

• Communicative Polish and English proficiency
