Azure DevOps Engineer

As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution that is driving digital transformation across its operations. You will be supporting large-scale cloud initiatives, implementing cutting-edge DevOps practices, and ensuring highly reliable infrastructure that powers critical financial services. This role involves building and optimizing platforms, deploying secure and scalable solutions, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver impactful projects. You will be part of a dynamic team where innovation, automation, and problem-solving are at the forefront of success.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code

• Deploying and configuring Azure and multi-cloud services (AWS/GCP when required)

• Managing CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated and reliable deployments

• Collaborating with platform teams and stakeholders to align solutions with business needs

• Monitoring and optimizing system performance and security across environments

• Supporting data-related services such as Data Factory, Databricks, and Data Warehousing solutions

• Documenting processes and presenting technical solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Driving innovation by proposing improvements to workflows, tools, and automation

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong hands-on experience in Azure or other major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)

• Proven expertise in DevOps principles and practices

• Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM templates, etc.)

• Experience deploying and configuring IaaS/PaaS services

• Solid understanding of cloud networking, compute, and storage

• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to analyze complex technical problems and design effective solutions

• Proficiency in English for clear business communication

• Strong presentation and reporting skills

• A proactive mindset with innovative problem-solving capabilities

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Background in platform engineering or consulting environments

• Experience with financial services or other highly regulated industries

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Knowledge of data management services and advanced cloud analytics

• Exposure to multi-cloud strategy and hybrid cloud environments
